Während eines Interviews beim Web 2.0 summit in San Francisco hat Yahoo-Chef Mr Yang folgende Aussagen getätigt:
To this day the best thing for Microsoft to do is buy Yahoo [...] I don’t think that is a bad idea at all, at the right price whatever that price is. We’re willing to sell the company.

Die Yahoo-Aktie kann heute gegen den Trend zulegen. Ich gehe mal stark davon aus, dass Hoffnungen auf eine Übernahme hier eine Rolle spielen. 30 plus X wird Microsoft in der derzeitigen Situation sicherlich nicht zahlen. Aber etwas über 20 $ dürfte machbar sein … wenn man dort noch will. Aber auch Microsoft hat eigentlich kaum Alternativen …

Aus psychologischen Gründen denke ich, dass der Preis für einen Übernahme knapp unter 20$ liegen wird.
Also die Ablehnung des ersten Angebots durch Microsoft war für Yahoo ein ziemlicher Griff ins Klo …
