Ich mag mich ja eigentlich schon gar nicht mehr mit dem ODP befassen und habe das ODP auch schon für mich selber als totes Projekt erklärt, aber wenn sich ein Gründer des ODPs zu Wort meldet kann man vielleicht doch noch einmal einen Blick auf die aktuelle Situation werfen: DMOZ had 9 lives. Des Weiteren gibt Skentra dem ODP im Besitz von AOL gar keine Zukunftschancen – ist aber schon der Meinung das ein Webkatalog auch heute noch erfolgreich sein könnte:
