Nach einer Äußerung von George Reyes, dem Finanzchef von Google, ist die Google-Aktie etwas unter Druck gekommen. Schlußkurs war heute 362,62 $, das ist ein Minus von 7,11%. Zwischzeitlich war die Google-Aktie bis auf 338,51 $ gefallen. Was hat der gute Mann so schlimmes gesagt:
We’re going to have to find other ways to monetize the business … At the end of the day, growth will slow. Will it be precipitous? I doubt it … I’m not turning bearish at all. I think we’ve got a lot of growth a head of us. It’s a question of what rate.
Alles halb so wild und auch nichts neues. So langsam von Quartal zu Quartal wird Google langsamer wachsen. Neue Wege sucht man ja bereits. Die werden aber natürlich nicht ausreichen um das Wachstum zu halten. Die Frage ist also wie hoch das Wachstum zukünftig noch sein wird.

Mit mittlerweile 3 Anzeigen über den Suchergebnissen hat Google an dieser Stelle das mögliche Wachstum ausgeschöpft. Die Keyword-Preise werden auch wohl nicht mehr so großartig weiter steigen. Wachstums-Potentiale sind vor allem noch organisch in Form von mehr Suchen zu erwarten. Das wird sicherlich noch etwas weitergehen, grade international ist da auch noch einiges Potential vorhanden.
